Junior Relations Officer Internship
August 2020 – February 2021

During my internship at Newman Pearsons International, a property consultant specializing in office leasing, I played an integral role in managing client relations and supporting the company’s digital marketing initiatives. My key responsibilities included:

  • Customer Database Management: Organized and maintained a comprehensive customer database, streamlining communication with clients and ensuring accurate tracking of interactions.

  • Marketing Support: Assisted in the development of marketing collateral and provided support to the digital marketing team for various promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment with the company’s business goals.

  • Social Media Support: Assisted the Digital Content Officer in managing the company’s social media platforms by helping create and schedule content aimed at enhancing online presence and engagement.

  • Webinars & Client Engagement: Developed and coordinated a weekly webinar series covering various industry-relevant topics, such as business management, digital marketing, and office leasing strategies. This initiative not only served as a consistent touchpoint with existing clients but also proved to be an effective tool for generating new leads and raising brand awareness among potential customers.


Addressing Challenges: Newman Pearsons faced challenges due to the pandemic, including a decline in demand for office spaces and limited client engagement. Additionally, the company's digital presence required more strategic focus to attract new customers in a competitive market.

Strategic Response: To address these challenges, the weekly webinars were introduced as part of a broader digital marketing strategy. The webinars featured topics tailored to client interests and industry trends, proving to be highly effective not only in maintaining relationships with existing clients but also in generating new leads. By assisting with the promotion of the webinar series through improved social media efforts, these sessions attracted a wider audience, positioning Newman Pearsons as a thought leader in the office leasing sector.


This internship provided me with hands-on experience in B2B marketing, enhancing my skills in client relations, digital engagement strategies, and marketing support during a period of significant industry challenges.
